Leading Global Manufacturer

GLOBAL MANUFACTURING

Aligning 60,000 employees around a new vision for health, safety, and environmental sustainability

A Fortune 500 manufacturer with more than 60,000 employees worldwide had invested decades in environmental and social responsibility. But over time, the internal narrative around sustainability, health, safety, and environment had drifted from its original purpose.

The communications were reaching employees. They were not changing behaviour.

The story was being told, but the underlying design connecting corporate ESG goals to what employees actually heard, felt, and did had weakened.

We began with a communications audit across global divisions, using surveys, interviews, and focus groups to surface the structural disconnects. From that diagnosis, we designed a new purpose statement, a department rebrand, and a three-year communications plan.

The creative work that followed, including year-round global campaigns, peer-to-peer storytelling, and a short film celebrating three decades of EHS commitment, was built on the architecture the diagnosis revealed.
